Definition of Privacy
Digital Garage, Inc. (hereinafter, DG) recognizes the importance of the proper handling of the personal information of clients. When collecting, using and disclosing said information, DG treats each client’s privacy with the utmost care, as outlined below.
Personal Information
Personal information as defined by DG is information related to an individual such as name, address, date of birth and occupation, etc., as well as numbers, symbols, codes, images or audio information that can be used to identify an individual. This includes information that, although unidentifiable as a single item, can easily be collated with other data to identify the individual.
Collection of Personal Information

DG does not collect, use or distribute personal information regarding race, ethnicity, family line, place of birth, registered domicile, beliefs, political views, union participation or sexual orientation.
When DG collects information from a client, directly or indirectly, for services other than those stated above, the client is notified in an appropriate manner of the details of the collection, use and distribution of such information.
Use of Personal Information
DG uses personal information within the reasonable limits set for collection purposes. The purposes of use of the information are detailed as follows.
When the need to use collected information for purposes other than those already specified arises, DG shall obtain the client’s consent prior to use.
Purposes of Use
- To provide customized advertisements, content and other information to the customer;
- To update the aforementioned information to ensure that it is current and sufficient;
- To contact the customer when DG finds it necessary; and
- To review the status and environment for the usage of the services and to provide usage reports to advertisers that are bound by confidentiality agreements, without specifying particular individuals.
Disclosure of Personal Information
DG does not disclose the personal information of clients to any third party by way of sale, rent or other manner without the client’s consent.
We may disclose personal information to affiliates, partner companies and subcontractors that have concluded confidentiality agreements with DG.
Even in such cases, DG ensures that all applicable rules related to personal information protection are complied with and properly managed in the same manner as our own services by mandating that such third party adhere to a privacy clause in its contract with DG.
Additionally, when a client requests the disclosure of their own personal information, DG provides the client with the information to the extent possible in a reasonable time frame.
Furthermore, when the disclosure of personal information is required in compliance with laws applicable to DG (when legal institutions such as a court of law, a prosecutor’s office or a police department request the disclosure of information provided by a client, ID registration details and registration profiles), DG may comply with such requests.
Information Management
DG manages personal information provided by clients in an appropriate and careful manner. Necessary and proper measures are taken in order to prevent unlawful access, loss, damage, falsification or leakage of personal information.
Confirmation, Revision and Deletion of Personal Information
Please contact DG to request the confirmation, correction or deletion of your personal information. To prevent falsification by a third party, DG responds to such requests in a reasonable manner, subject to the verification of your identity by DG.
Distribution of Direct Mail
DG may contact you by direct mail with your consent to inform you of the services that we offer. The purpose of such direct mail is to provide information on various current or future DG products and services, along with information from our advertisers via e-mail.
The distribution of direct mail is subject to the consent granted by a client or DG and is limited to partner companies bound by a confidentiality agreement with DG. When sending such direct mail, the identity of the sender is clearly indicated.
When a client declines to grant consent or a client wishes to discontinue or make alterations to the provision of direct mail, DG provides a means to promptly accommodate such required changes.
